The Chronicles of Narnia almost became a modern-day American tale set in Brentwood, California – until a certain Harry Potter came along and made Britishness cool. The much-anticipated movie will open nationwide on Dec 8. The Narnia stories, beloved of British, Australian, and to a lesser extent, Malaysian children, are finally coming to the big screen.
