Most years, shopping malls decorate to look like the North Pole. But this year, a Mecklenburg mall is aiming more for Narnia. Northlake, the newly opened center at Interstate 77 and W.T. Harris Boulevard, is one of 11 malls owned by Taubman Centers Inc. that will be decorated with scenery from the Disney film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe," set for release Dec. 9.
